Chapter 1

CHAPTER ONE- THE MEETING

Victoria POV

I gently stroked my sleeping friend's hair. I let out a sigh because finally

it fell asleep. It didn't stop crying and that's what worried me.

Why are we here? We shouldn't

here, Andy and I just applied as a waitress in a restaurant. But here we are, confined in a very large but frightening mansion.

"Vivi..." I looked at andy's face, her eyes were already puffy.

"I'm right here, andy. Dont worry I will protect you." I hum a lullaby to make her go back to sleep.

I sighed again, what now?

I looked around, my female colleagues were almost asleep. They have their own bed.

And I'll count all of us about 18 of us here and it's just amazing because there are also 18 beds here. My room where we are is very large even though we are 18 we're fit here and very much more space.

I hugged myself as the cold air blew from the large window. It was turned on and blown away it's the white curtain, I approach there. I touched the hem of the curtain, I came closer and looked up the dark forest. I headed to reach for the window shutter because it was outside.

"Hi, sweety."

My eyes almost widened when suddenly something appeared in front of me and what terrified me more was to realize it's in the air.

"Ah!"

He quickly covered my mouth to stop me from screaming. I tried to punch him in the chest but he didn't seem to mind it was just him and he even pulled me from the window. He hugged me while we seemed to be visible in the air.

"Shh... Dont make any noise, you might wake them up." It smiled mischievously as it just stared me in the eye.

I nodded slowly and he slowly lowered his hand from my mouth.

I took a deep breath before speaking.

"W-who... who are you?" I asked as I tried not to stutter.

"Me? Well, I'm nothing. I was just passing by when I accidentally saw your beauty. You are so beautiful

look out the window, sweety. Apparently, you attract me with your charm."

I bit my lip when I heard his praise, Is this man blind? Me? Beautiful?

Suddenly the moonlight hit the man's face, He must be the charming, very handsome creature! His eyes are so beautiful.

It is very black like the color of darkness, his eyebrows are thick and his eyelashes are very long. I looked at his lips, and it's very red!

I was surprised by the curve of his lip with a smile.

"Apparently, you like me too, maiden." He smiled mischievously at me.

The beauty, the beauty of his smile. I blinked. I pushed him slightly.

"H-ha? You're thinking wrong." I looked away, I felt my ear heat up. I was taken by his look. Ugh!

"I'm not mistaken, it's nice to see you up close." He smiled again.

He slowly put me back inside the window.

"You'll be mine soon..."

He smiled again and suddenly disappeared in front of me. My eyes widened and I recoiled. Apparently purely malignant who lives here. How was he able to fly and suddenly disappear in front of me? I didn't even blink!

I hugged myself in fear. We need to leave everything here.

"Victoria!"

"It's me, andy!" Andy hugged me and caressed my back.

"It's you..." I sighed, I quickly closed the still open window and we went back to bed.

"We'd better go to sleep." I made our bed.

"Are you okay? I guess you're scared. I'm sorry." I added.

"No, don't apologize. Let's just go to sleep." I nodded and she leaned over me.

I tried to close my eyes and fell asleep.

"Victoria! Victoria! Wake up! Victoria!"mo

I was blinded by the noise.

"Andy? Where are you taking my friend!" I quickly ran in their direction. They drag andy

out of this room. I can see out of the corner of my eye other women but they don"t help.

"Andy!"

Suddenly the bedroom door closed, I cried out in annoyance.

No... No please, not my friend.

"ANDYY! OPEN THE DOOR!" I slammed the big door and I felt the pain of my palm with every blow I made there.

"AHH!" I let out a scream but no one seemed to hear. I slipped at the foot of the door.

"Andy! give her back to me."

I could feel the woman hand, I looked up.

"We don't know what they're going to do with her. We can't do anything, we can't do anything with them."

I just look at her, while my tears are still dripping. They supported me on my bed and made me sit there.

They treated my hand, I went over there. They just put on medicine.

"What's going on? Why are we here? What are they going to do to us?" I heard a woman say and sob.

"It's like we're birds that can't fly. They've locked us up here. We have nothing to lose."

Everyone started crying, while I remained an idiot.

Two hours later, I settled down as well. I closed my eyes and sighed. I need to find out where they are

brought andy. I need to save her. But first, I need to get out of this room.

"Good day, young ladies!" We all turned our attention to the door as the lady who brought it entered

with us here.

She already has five Nimbus on her back. Nimbus she calls them and

I know they are not normal people. They suddenly appeared in front of us the day we arrived here as if they came from nothingness.

I was so close, I numb my palm to her laughter. I stood up and walked closer to them.

"Where is she?" I boldly question. She stopped laughing and stared at me.

"Where's Andy! Give her back to me!" My tears flowed again at that cry. But it just stares at me of blank.

I came closer, staring her in the eye. And I can"t deny her stare was frightening. I was swallowed.

"The woman you took earlier. Bring her back here." I saw her smile scary.

"Do you want to see her?" I nodded in succession. But it just smiled.

"Enter the corpse!" My eyes widened at what she said. C-corpse? I looked away from the door.

I could clearly see the origin of a Nimbus coming in. I ran towards her. The nimbus threw my friend away

to me and my surroundings seemed to stop. Gradually her body flew closer to me, I caught it.

I could feel the coldness of Andy's body. I groaned because I couldn't find her wrist.

"Andy! No! Andy wake up!" I shook her on the shoulder but she didn't wake up. I hugged her very tightly.

"Andy! Please!" I rubbed her face, it was almost colorless, she was so pale that it looked like she was dead!

That caught my attention with her neck with two small but round wounds there, she also has those in

hands, chest, feet, and when I looked at her stomach it also had a wound like that.

"V-vampire bites?"
